Depends on the game. In FireRed they still named Pokemon in caps, whereas by Gen. IV they’d switched to lowercase. I stick with what the default for the game is.

Dear David,

You need to try to not be so hard on yourself. Yes, it’s fine to have high goals, and yes, it’s fine to push yourself to meet those goals, but in the same way you get angry with yourself for your failures you need to reward yourself for your successes. It’s okay to be content with your life; it’s okay to say, “Yeah, I did a good job. Yeah, I’m good enough.”

You’ve caused yourself so much pain because you’re convinced you’re not good enough or likable enough or talented enough to get what you want out of life. You consistently look to the negative before the positive; this is a wonderful world we live in and a wonderful life you have and you need to work harder to appreciate that. It won’t be easy, but it takes constant reinforcement and assurance from yourself that everything will end up okay.
